Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization across guest rooms and common areas. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and efficient service delivery. This position requires someone who is organized, reliable, and committed to upholding our organization's reputation for excellence.

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and guest amenities; report any damages or maintenance needs promptly
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other guest room items in a timely and efficient manner
  • Dust, vacuum, and sanitize all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures in assigned areas
  • Restock guest room supplies including toiletries, towels, and amenities
  • Maintain organized and efficient workflow while managing multiple room assignments
  • Respond to guest requests and special cleaning needs with professionalism and courtesy
  • Follow all safety and health protocols, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns to supervisors
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and room contents

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or room cleaning within a hospitality environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and knowledge of various cleaning products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting
  • Preferred: Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or software
  • Preferred: Multilingual abilities
