Our esteemed hotel is centrally located in Cairns City. Our property features 324 elegantly appointed rooms, 18 versatile meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, as well as in-room dining services. We're now looking for for a seasoned and dedicated Duty Manager to lead our exceptional front office team and ensure the smooth daily operation of our renowned hotel. Your leadership will be key in delivering outstanding service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Delivering a 5-star experience every step of the way
In this role, you'll be a key leader in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel, while training and supporting your team to consistently deliver exceptional service. You will foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the front office team to uphold high service standards for all guests.
- Train and support team members, ensuring they are equipped to excel in their roles.
- Address guest inquiries and feedback, prioritizing effective resolution and satisfaction.
- Promote efficient communication and collaboration between departments.
- Foster a workplace culture focused on health, safety, and Accor’s values.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of the Front Office Team.

- Proven leadership experience in a resort or hotel
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members
- Confident and articulate communicator, skilled in negotiation and relationship building
- Adaptable and responsive to change, with a flexible approach to challenges
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
