Job Description

  1. Pick up / Drop hotel guests at predetermined locations and predetermined times in a friendly and courteous manner. 

  1. Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy. 

  1. Assist guests in the handling of luggage and large packages.  

  1. The driver may open the car door for guests.  

  1. Educate passengers with regard to local information.  

  1. Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. 

  1. Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary. 

  1. Fuelling the vehicle. 

  1. Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported. 

  1. Documenting customer usage. 

  1. Preparing trip reports. 

  1. Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary. 

  1. Assisting guests in and out of the vehicle. 

  1. Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service. 

  1. Should be familiar with the roads and landmarks in the UAE (Especially Dubai). 

  1. Should also be knowledgeable of all local rules of the road.  

  1. Co-ordination and information with the Concierge, Front Office and other departments. 

  1. To effectively handle all guest requests. 

  1. He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility. 

  1. Other duties as assigned 

  1. Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested 

  1. Review and update the Logbook.  

  1. Be smart, well groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times. 

  1. Report regularly on happening to FOM/Doirector of Operations. 

  1. Maintain associate relations. 

  1. Resolve guest complaints. 

  1. Ensure the services are up to the required standard. 

  1. Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups and VIPs. 

  1. Attend training classes as per schedule 

  1. Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments  

  1. Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities 


Qualifications

Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, 1 – 3 years experience in 4-5  star Hotel
