Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and empathetic Director of Talent & Culture to join our team in Bogor, Indonesia. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead our Talent & Culture department, shaping our organizational culture and driving employee engagement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's most valuable asset - our people.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with our organization's goals and values
  • Lead and mentor a team of Talent & Culture professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive organizational change and cultural transformation initiatives
  • Design and oversee employee engagement programs, including onboarding, training, and development opportunities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and selection to performance management and retention
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations, staying abreast of any changes or updates
  • Develop and manage the annual Talent & Culture budget, aligning resources with organizational priorities
  • Implement and maintain fair and competitive compensation and benefits programs
  • Spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace
  • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads on employee relations matters, mediating conflicts when necessary
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure legal compliance with Indonesian labor laws, including employment contracts, working hours, employee rights, and termination procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor regulations and ensure all HR practices are legally sound.
  • Manage and oversee the hotel’s licensing requirements related to manpower, expatriates (IMTA, KITAS), and other HR-related permits.
  • Liaise with local government authorities and labor departments for legal and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation and renewal of legal licenses and employee-related permits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent management strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and HR best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and organizational development
  • Proficiency in HRMS and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
  • Experience in performance management systems and talent development programs
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and licensing procedures.
  • Experience dealing with government bodies, labor offices, and immigration.
