Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and solidify our position as a market leader in Accra. In this pivotal role, you will inspire a high-performing team to drive revenue growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and expand our footprint across the corporate, MICE, and premium travel sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and lead the overarching sales strategy to achieve the hotel's revenue and market share targets.

  • Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the sales team to ensure individual and departmental goals are met.

  • Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel management companies, and event planners.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving market share growth.

  • Established network of corporate, travel industry, and MICE contacts.

Skills:

  • Advanced negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

  • Deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and revenue management principles.

  • Strong mentoring and team-building capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
