Job Description

The Director – Learning & Development is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing training and development programs across Palace operations to ensure high service standards, employee capability development, and leadership pipeline growth. The role supports a culture of continuous learning aligned with hospitality brand standards and guest experience excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organization’s Learning & Development strategy.

  • Design training programs for service excellence, operational skills, and leadership development.

  • Lead onboarding, departmental training, and management development programs.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards and SOP training across properties.

  • Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning initiatives.

  • Track training effectiveness using performance metrics and guest feedback.

  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, HR, or related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Luxury hotel operations and service standards, LQA, emotional intelligence
