Job Description

Innovative Experiences: Inspire and drive innovative dining experiences and activations, developing curated menus and concepts that solidify Fairmont Ramla Riyadh as a destination of choice for hotel and external guests.

Strategic Leadership: Participate as a senior leader in hotel-wide strategic decisions, aligning food and beverage initiatives with the overall vision of the Fairmont brand.

Operational Excellence:Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring adherence to luxury service standards that enhance guest satisfaction.

Guest Service Improvement: Implement and uphold guest service standards while constantly seeking methods to enhance product offerings and services, aiming to boost volume and profitability.

Financial Performance: Guide and support F&B departments in meeting their financial and operational targets, ensuring alignment with Fairmont’s objectives.

Budget Management: Develop and manage annual budgets with fiscal responsibility, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize profitability.

Expense Control: Implement effective controls over food, beverage, labor, and operating expenses throughout the F&B division to optimize costs while maintaining quality.

Strategic Planning: Assist in the preparation of Fairmont’s annual strategic plan, ensuring that departmental goals align with corporate objectives.

Colleague Development: Oversee the selection, training, and development of all colleagues, ensuring timely recruitment and fostering career growth opportunities.

Hygiene Standards: Collaborate with local, state, and governmental organizations to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness in all food and beverage operations.

Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints within the food and beverage division promptly to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.

Pricing Strategy: Monitor F&B prices, establish benchmarks, analyze sales mixes, and develop pricing strategies that enhance profitability for Fairmont.

Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the selection, purchasing, storage, inventory management, and maintenance of all food and beverage supplies and equipment.

High-Performing Teams:Develop a high-performing F&B leadership team committed to professional growth and aligned with Fairmont’s values.

Daily Operations Meeting: Conduct daily F&B meetings to discuss VIP guest arrivals, revenue updates, operational challenges, and strategies for improvement.

Collaborative Culture: Maintain a favorable working relationship with all departments, fostering a cooperative and harmonious environment that promotes employee morale and productivity.

Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of Fairmont Ramla Riyadh.


Qualifications

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience in a senior leadership role required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in managing F&B operations in a luxury hotel, gained from working in global key cities.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business demands, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overtime shifts, and holidays.
  • Ability to work effectively with programs including Microsoft Office, Open Table - Guest Centre, Avero Slingshot, Opera, Silverware, and Revinate.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
