Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to join our team in the beautiful coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement innovative F&B strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of F&B professionals across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining
  • Analyze financial performance, control costs, and optimize productivity across all F&B operations
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create exciting menu concepts and pricing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of quality and hygiene
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best quality products at competitive prices
  • Drive marketing initiatives to promote F&B offerings and increase revenue
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and implement best practices to stay ahead of the competition
  • Develop and manage the annual F&B budget, including forecasting and regular performance reviews
  • Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer service and address guest feedback promptly and effectively

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in luxury or lifestyle resort settings
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss management
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of hospitality management software
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu engineering, and pricing strategies
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisive actions in a fast-paced environment
  • Arabic mother tongue, Fluency in English; or other languages is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
