Job Description

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, people-driven environment? Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events and building lasting client relationships? 

We are seeking a Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and development of conference and event business. From preparing tailored proposals to hosting site inspections and coordinating handovers to our event coordinators—you’ll be the engine behind seamless, memorable experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Convert leads into business through proactive sales and relationship building.
  • Manage end-to-end event coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Prepare detailed proposals that cover venue, catering, and accommodation.
  • Host client site inspections of hotel and conference facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel operations team to deliver top-tier client service and successful events.
  • Maintain accurate records in systems like Delphi and ASA.
  • Support the implementation of strategic sales initiatives in the conference segment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in events or sales within the hospitality sector.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent negotiation and networking abilities.
  • Proven track record to be proactive, detail-oriented, solutions-focused and adaptable.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Previous knowledge with hotel property management systems such as Opera Cloud and Delphi.
