Job Description

  • Handle all event enquiries received via email or phone during the shift, ensuring timely communication and providing replies or confirmations within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase hotel revenue by upselling food & beverage services and room bookings.
  • Prepare detailed function sheets for all events, including any amendments, and ensure all updates are promptly shared with the relevant department heads.
  • Effectively manage and work within allocated budgets, ensuring all events remain profitable.
  • Ensure timely input and accurate management of reservations and data for all group enquiries and bookings
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with other departments regarding special requests, booking updates, or any other reservation-related matters.

  • Ensure that Accor brand standards and company procedures are consistently implemented and regularly updated.

  •  Monitor and implement hotel security and safety procedures related to events and group activities.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all guests and clients have a memorable experience


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event coordination, sales, or hotel operations (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive approach with a positive and customer-focused attitude
  • Good understanding of budgets and revenue management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of hotel booking systems is a plus
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service and guest satisfaction
