Job Description

  •  To prepare or assist the process of preparation high-quality, tasty and beautifully presented food products according to the company's standards;
  •  Follow all instructions and prescriptions appropriately:
  •  Prepare ready-made semi-finished products necessary for daily activities:
  •  To prepare food products of the same high quality, taste and attractiveness at all times according to the company's standards:
  •  To carry out all instructions and prescriptions appropriately and in accordance with the rules:
  •  Prepare ready-made semi-finished products needed for daily activities:
  •  Helping to prepare and present guests' food orders to the guest immediately, within the time limit according to the hotel's standards and with high quality:
  •  Conduct the mid-month and end-of-month counting process in accordance with Fairmont guidelines:
  •  To inform the supervisor before any product is finished:
  •  To control the quality and quantity of food served to guests:
  •  Participate in and adhere to the process of minimizing wastage and achieving budgeted food price targets:
  •  Keeping the workplace and equipment neat and clean, in accordance with sanitary regulations:
  •  In case of deficiencies in technical equipment, to inform the direct supervisor:
  •  To comply with food safety procedures and the rules for creating a safe work environment:
  •  To observe proper storage of food stocks:
  •  Continuously actively participate in trainings.
  •  To assist in the process of receiving, checking and keeping conditions of all food products arriving for the department in the best quality:
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen while on duty:
  • Constantly making suggestions to improve the department's work:
  •  Demonstrate the ability to conduct yourself in a manner that meets the highest standards of the Company:
  •  Assist hotel employees and guests in a courteous manner;
  •  To be sufficiently informed about the work of the department and to help other employees of the department when appropriate;
  • Comply with hotel health and safety regulations, create safe working conditions, and know all safety and emergency procedures;
  •  To observe the efficient use of the Equipment;
  •  To carry out daily work and report directly to the manager;
  •  Manage time correctly and complete assigned tasks on time;
  •  Actively participate continuously in meetings related to the Department;
  •  Understand and adhere to all departmental guidelines and policies;
  •  To perform other duties determined by the direct manager;
  •  To comply with the requirements stipulated in the rules regarding appearance (dressing rules);
  •  To properly comply with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standard and to participate in the trainings held on this standard within the department;

 


Qualifications

  •  Secondary or Higher education
  •  Having minimum work experience in the kitchen for the relevant position.
  •  Frequent walking, standing and sitting during the shift
  •  If necessary, lift and carry 12 kg of weight, go up and down stairs, ladders, high places
  •  Fluent Azerbaijani language
  •  Russian and English are desirable
  •  Being extremely responsible.
  •  To have the ability to perform multiple tasks within a changing environment, while remaining calm and restrained in collective internal relations
  • Maintaining patience and restraint during work hours
  •  Ability to be accurate and pay attention to details
  • Passionate about cooking and serving guests' orders.
  •  Strive to continuously learn new abilities and skills, methods
