Job Description

Join our team and bring events to life!
Novotel Coventry and Novotel Wolverhampton form our vibrant West Midlands cluster, each offering fantastic spaces for meetings, conferences, and events. We’re looking for a passionate and driven Cluster Meeting & Events Sales Manager to oversee enquiries, manage bookings, and help us grow our events business across both sites.

If you love building client relationships, have a talent for organisation, and can see the potential in every booking, this role is your perfect next step.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to enquiries from all channels and converting them into confirmed business

  • Quoting, contracting, and managing bookings from initial enquiry to final invoice

  • Conducting and arranging site showrounds, ensuring every visit is impressive and tailored

  • Preparing detailed function sheets and leading function sheet meetings

  • Keeping our hotel profiles up to date, including promoting our ALL Meeting Planner loyalty scheme

  • Travelling between both sites to meet clients and support the team

 


Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a busy hotel Meetings & Events office or similar sales role

  • Organised, methodical, and confident using booking systems (training on Digi provided)

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • A personable approach with a real passion for sales and hospitality

  • Flexibility with working hours when needed and the ability to travel between sites
