Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Udaipur, India. As a key member of our unit, you will be responsible for driving catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the success of our catering operations.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize catering revenue and market share
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local Udaipur market
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu offerings
  • Conduct site visits and create detailed event proposals tailored to client needs
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are met
  • Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Manage and mentor a team of catering sales professionals
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
  • Stay informed about local cuisine, cultural events, and dietary preferences in Udaipur and surrounding areas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in catering sales or related hospitality field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in managing a team of sales professionals
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Excellent skills in budgeting, financial planning, and contract negotiation
  • Expertise in event planning, coordination, and menu development
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and current industry trends
  • Familiarity with local cuisine, cultural events, and dietary preferences in Udaipur and surrounding areas
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Food Safety Certification preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
