Hotel SO/ Sotogrande, located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating knowledge of menu items
• Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
• Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

• Excellent communication abilities in both verbal and written form
• Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
• Keen attention to detail in all aspects of service
• Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food handling certification (may be provided by the employer)
• Knowledge of wines and cocktails is advantageous
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
