Exceptional service and cuisine are hallmarks of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts dining experience. As Bus Person, you will take pride in the integral role you play in supporting your Food & Beverage Colleagues and “setting the stage” for a truly memorable meal. 

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service 
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience 
• Assist Bartenders in prep and service
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way 
• Knowledge of the companies where our products are sourced from
• Follow Hawthorn and Fairmont policies, procedures and service standards
• Complete knowledge and adhere to the Leading Quality Assurance Standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage 
• Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet 
• Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions 
• Bar Back Duties

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous service experience an asset Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset 
• Must have a full availability 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities 
• Highly responsible & reliable 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment 
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
