Business Reporting Intern

We are looking for a Business Reporting Intern to support our team in analysing key performance metrics, generating insights, and assisting in data-driven decision-making processes. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business reporting, working with large datasets, and learning best practices in data visualization and analytics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop skills in data analysis and reporting within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing business performance data using Excel and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Support the team in building and maintaining reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
• Contribute to data transformation and interpretation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Help automate reporting processes and improve data visualization techniques for better insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and consolidate business data for analysis.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests and contribute to presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Learn and work with Snowflake (if applicable) for database management and querying.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis).
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL or Snowflake is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize insights.
• Eager to learn and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting.
• Ability to shift between high-level strategic analysis and granular data exploration, providing insights at both macro and micro levels.
• Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industry is a strong plus, with an understanding of key business performance metrics.
