Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with the major shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 239 well appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ passionate F&B / Bar Attendant who thinks outside the box and wants to opportunity to make our F&B outlets the heart & soul of our hotel.

In this role you will:

• Be the ‘face’ of our Bar – welcome guests, look after our VIPs and clients
• Be an active promoter of Beccaria Bar and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
• Run breakfast service, and conferencing and events as required
• Bring flair, passion and charisma each and every day
• Be given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the team
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• An entrepreneurial style and drive for bar operations
• The natural ability to understand and educate our guests on our wide range of wine, spirits, cocktails and aperitifs
• Experienced in making traditional cocktails as well as an interest in creativity and design of new cocktails
• Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
