Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Associate Director of Sales to join our dynamic team in Kathmandu, Nepal. This senior-level position plays a crucial role in driving our sales strategies and leading our sales team to achieve ambitious goals in the vibrant Nepalese market and beyond.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of sales operations
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities in Nepal and internationally
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Create and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the customer database
  • Initiate and drive new customer acquisition strategies
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing efforts
  • Monitor and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Set and track individual and team sales targets, ensuring they are met or exceeded
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales management, with a focus on the Nepalese market

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
  • Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Nepali or other local languages is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nepalese market and business culture
  • Experience in international sales or working with global clients
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
