Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Office Department, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and supporting the development of our staff.

  • Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing all Front Office operations
  • Ensure smooth and efficient check in and check out processes
  • Monitor daily room availability, occupancy levels, and room allocations
  • Supervise VIP arrivals, special attention guests, and group movements
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and service procedures
  • Handle duty management responsibilities in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Address guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery situations professionally and promptly
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor Front Office team members
  • Support upselling initiatives to maximize room revenue and overall profitability
  • Ensure accurate reporting, including daily operational reports and shift summaries
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Front Office operations within a luxury hotel environment
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role (Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Front Office procedures, guest service standards, and Rooms Division operations
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS or equivalent hotel management systems
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Well groomed and professional appearance reflecting Sofitel brand standards
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and guest centric mindset
