Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager - Outlet to join our team at Grand Mercure Mysore, India. As an AM - Outlet, you will play a crucial role in leading our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving team performance.

  • Lead and supervise the outlet team, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
  • Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive dining atmosphere
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage department to implement revenue-maximizing strategies and promotions
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing outlet staff members
  • Oversee menu knowledge among team members and stay updated on industry trends
  • Contribute to budget management and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and food handling policies and procedures
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings
  • Balance operational, administrative, and staff needs effectively
  • Implement and maintain outlet policies and service standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant or outlet operations
  • Proficiency in point of sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, health and safety regulations, and cost control measures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
