Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Welcomer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Welcomer, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and personalized welcome experience in our vibrant, multicultural environment. Your role is crucial in delivering our brand's promise of exceptional hospitality and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process for all guests.

  • Greet and welcome all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile
  • Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences
  • Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information
  • Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival, based on guest status or preferences
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be readily available to assist or guide guests
  • Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately
  • Ensure guest preferences and special requests are recorded and communicated effectively
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, in line with brand standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Front Office or guest-facing role in a 4- or 5-star hotel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus
  • Warm, outgoing, and service-oriented personality
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred
  • Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
