    Job Description

    The Opportunity 

    As part of our ongoing Food & Beverage evolution transformation, we are seeking a passionate and service-driven Manager – Sommelier to elevate the beverage experience in REIGN, with light support to Clockwork and Library Bar when needed. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead with presence on the floor, drive wine and beverage sales, and inspire a culture of excellence across our teams. 

    What You’ll Be Doing 

    • Lead the wine and beverage program for REIGN, including curation of the wine list, supplier partnerships, and ongoing enhancements 
    • Champion a guest-first approach to service by engaging directly with diners, making expert pairings, and supporting the team in real time during service 
    • Train, mentor, and upskill colleagues on wine knowledge, service standards, and upselling techniques 
    • Collaborate with our beverage director, culinary and F&B leadership to build pairing menus, seasonal features, and activations that align with REIGN’s brand 
    • Monitor beverage sales performance, guest feedback, and key KPIs to identify areas of opportunity 
    • Support Clockwork and Library Bar with occasional wine/beverage training and list consultation 
    • Ensure compliance with Smart Serve, inventory management practices, and luxury service expectations 
    • Act as a leader on the floor, supporting daily operations and stepping into the Manager-on-Duty rotation as required 

    Qualifications

    What You Bring 

    • Proven experience as a Sommelier or Beverage Manager in a high-volume, premium or luxury dining environment 
    • Strong wine knowledge and certifications (e.g., WSET Level 2 or higher, CMS, ISG) 
    • Passion for hospitality, guest interaction, and storytelling through food and beverage 
    • Confident leadership style with the ability to coach, influence, and lead by example 
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills 
    • A desire to stay current on beverage trends and constantly raise the bar
