We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the front desk, ensuring adherence to service standards and company procedures
- Handle guest concerns promptly and efficiently, initiating follow-up actions as needed
- Oversee the Duty Manager safe in accordance with company procedures
- Collaborate with various departments to balance operational, administrative, and staff needs
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service consistently to all guests
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service throughout the hotel
- Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities and local attractions
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Manage staff schedules and assignments to ensure optimal coverage
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards
- Prepare and submit daily reports on hotel operations and guest feedback
- Train and mentor front desk staff to improve their skills and performance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction
- Proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and industry standards
- Ability to remain calm and courteous while addressing guest concerns
- Familiarity with local culture and customs in Cairo, Egypt
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proven track record of working collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
