Job Description

As the Chief Concierge at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will lead the concierge team in delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences. You will act as the key point of contact for all guest requests, providing expert guidance, VIP services, and seamless coordination across departments while reflecting the bold, playful, and stylish SO/ brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the concierge team to ensure consistent high-quality guest service.
  • Provide personalized assistance to guests, including reservations, transportation, event planning, and local area guidance.
  • Handle VIP, high-profile, and repeat guests with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide solutions or recommendations to enhance satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, entertainment, dining, and cultural events to provide accurate information and advice.
  • Manage guest complaints or special requests professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up.
  • Oversee concierge administrative tasks, including guest requests, messages, and records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local service providers, vendors, and tour operators to enhance guest experiences.
  • Ensure concierge desk and public areas are organized, visually appealing, and in line with brand standards.
  • Uphold professional appearance, grooming, and the SO/ brand’s playful and stylish identity at all times.
  • Monitor concierge team performance, provide feedback, and assist in training and development programs.
  • Contribute to guest loyalty programs, special experiences, and upselling initiatives to drive revenue.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a concierge role with supervisory experience, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Exceptional guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of local attractions, dining, entertainment, and cultural offerings.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Professional appearance, confident demeanor, and alignment with SO/ brand standards.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
