Solve electrical problems to ensure uninterrupted operation of the system;
Perform daily tasks related to electrical work;
Maintenance of laundry and kitchen equipment, heating, ventilation and air conditioning units, as well as their motors, pumps, fans, water purification mechanisms and various types of equipment such as electric generators, electric lights and power, telephones and televisions, fire elevators, security equipment and systems, and be responsible for its maintenance;
Follow the rules of electrical test equipment to determine the location and type of electrical faults;
Perform preventive maintenance/work requirements according to established quality standards;
Assist in the placement of all fire protection equipment in the area;
Be aware of the hotel's emergency/fire alarms;
To comply with the rules of processing and storage of permanent and portable (small in size, suitable for transportation) equipment necessary for work;
Report supply issues and deficiencies directly to the manager and eliminate these deficiencies in appropriate places;
To keep records of the use of equipment and analyze its indicators, to study its operating mode and operating conditions, to develop normative documents on the operation of electronic equipment and its technical service;
Checking the details of the equipment, informing about the problems and directly to the manager and solving the problem in a short time;
Use repair tools (pliers, hammer, etc.) with care;
To make proposals for adding certain innovations to the existing system to further increase work productivity;
Prepare a list of spare parts for the requirements of the department and inform the head directly;;
Be aware of annual maintenance plans and related periodic maintenance requirements;
To carry out all types of repairs, arrangements and maintenance works in the entire hotel area, including new additions/enhancements to the annual maintenance plans;
Regularly participate in trainings and apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work;
To organize high-level maintenance works for guests and hotel employees;
Detecting and laying electrical faults in the hotel area, reading schematics, detecting and repairing plumbing and mechanical faults;
Assist hotel staff and guests in a courteous manner;
Maintenance and repair of equipment and supplies of guest rooms, public and back areas assigned to him realise;
To be responsible for safe storage and use of permanent and temporary equipment belonging to the hotel while performing the required work;
To implement assigned works in a short time in accordance with Fairmont Baku standards;
To be sufficiently informed about the work of the department and to assist other employees of the department when appropriate;
Report supply issues and deficiencies directly to the manager and eliminate these deficiencies in appropriate places;
Properly place and use ladders and other types of support equipment;
Comply with hotel health and safety regulations, create safe working conditions, and know all safety and emergency procedures;
To use the Equipment effectively;
Be aware of the hotel's alarm/fire alarms;
To comply with the operation and maintenance standards and safety rules of tools and all equipment;
To participate in safety trainings;
Carry out daily work and report directly to the manager;
Detect and promptly repair any defects and malfunctions and report to management;
Work in accordance with standard and safety rules in the work process;
Manage time properly and complete assigned tasks on time;
To continuously actively participate in meetings related to the Department;
To carry out tasks related to daily activities in the task sheet given by the direct supervisor and to report to the direct supervisor at the end of the work shift;
Immediately report lost and found items to the immediate supervisor, notify the Security Department in accordance with the Hotel's policies and guidelines;
To comply with the requirements for appearance (clothing rules) stipulated by the rules;
Understand and adhere to all departmental guidelines and policies;
Participate in daily handover processes;
Participate in in-house training on chemicals and their proper use;
To use PPE properly;
Observing the rules of conduct in the hotel area (observing silence, not using unethical words);
To perform other tasks determined by the direct manager;
Install and repair electric motors, transformers, generators, circuits, wires and other electrical equipment and components in accordance with the rules, norms and standards for electrical installations;
To know the basics of labor and production organization, norms and rules of labor protection, safety equipment, industrial sanitation and fire protection;
-At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Fluent Azerbaijani language
-English and Russian (desirable)
-Graduated from a technical school related to electrical/electronics/refrigeration/steam generator/heating and air conditioning system/plumbing field or a certain vocational education
-To know the structural characteristics, operating mode and operating rules of equipment and supplies working with electricity and electronic control;
-Have general mechanical skills in plumbing, carpentry, and technical equipment
-Ability and responsibility to independently complete any assigned task without supervision
