Purpose
As Hospitality All Rounder, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, seamlessly transitioning between the Housekeeping and Food & Beverage department. Your commitment to delivering exceptional service, coupled with your genuine care for our guests, will shine through in each department you work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, such as changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces, all to ensure an exceptional first impression
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals with care, adhering to safety protocols to maintain a secure environment
- Offer personalised food and beverage suggestions, whether in our outlets or during events leaving a lasting impression on our guests
- Proactively source information to expand your product knowledge
- Be the go-to source for information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems
- Confidently communicate with both guests and colleagues enabling seamless teamwork
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a customer facing hospitality role, particularly in a bar or as a barista, is a plus
- Experience in a resort-style environment would be beneficial
- Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
- Genuine passion for guest care, engaging with patrons and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
- Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong work ethic, reliable and a commitment to excellence
- Your problem-solving skills and unwavering positivity come into play when challenges arise, as you transform obstacles into opportunities
