Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of Food & Beverage operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, market competitiveness, and exceptional financial performance.
  • Develop and manage F&B budgets, action plans, and promotional activities to stimulate sales and control operating expenses.
  • Lead and develop the F&B team, including hiring, training, motivating, and coaching staff members.
  • Manage the smooth daily operation of restaurants, cafes, and in-room dining services, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competition to recommend and implement appropriate product and operational changes.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including Conference and Events, Front Office, and Engineering, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators for all F&B outlets.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in service, product, and presentation to maintain the hotel's competitive edge in the luxury market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a multiple food & beverage department head positions within a five-star luxury hotels, with proven success in managing budgets and forecasts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, including performance management and staff development
  • Thorough understanding of luxury guest expectations and commitment to meeting them
  • Proficiency in Micros, Opera, and other relevant applications
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English essential
  • Awareness of industry trends and aptitude for developing promotions and marketing strategies
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required
