We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant Stewarding Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stewarding department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in our establishment.

• Assist in managing and coordinating the stewarding team's daily activities and schedules
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas, storage facilities, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality
• Train and mentor stewarding staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
• Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization
• Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to stewarding operations
• Participate in the recruitment, performance evaluation, and professional development of stewarding staff
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by management

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in stewarding or related hospitality roles
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel or restaurant setting
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
• Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred
• Thorough understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
• Expertise in cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Proficiency in inventory control and cost management techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving around the facility
