Job Description

An exciting opportunity to be part of a team setting up a new path for Premium, Midscale & Economy brands, in an international environment; building relationship with counterparts around the globe.

Your responsibilities will cover 4 main areas :

Building and leading Media & Acquisition lever development strategy & optimization worldwide:

  • Define and lead the global Media & Acquisition Levers strategic framework leveraging insights (MMM), defining audiences driving differentiation within the portfolio, key market optimization, content effectiveness etc
  • Define global paid media planning (on & offline) in collaboration with Brands, Regions to ensure successful local activation.
  • Coordinate strategy implementation and operational excellence across all Regions, supporting them in the development of levers activation
  • Ensuring worldwide consistency of lever optimizations, implementation and adoption of advanced solutions and features
  • Provide clear guidelines and consolidate elements from various stakeholders to provide a 360° go-to-market toolkits based on brands’ roadmaps and new campaigns, programs, partnerships
  • Define paid media KPIs and monitor worldwide lever performance and budget to achieve Brands, Business & Financial Targets
  • Work closely with Business Partners (Finance, Procurement, Legal) to drive efficiency and performance

Leading strategic relationships with internal & external partners including agencies, business partners, tools providers:

  • Brief, supervise, and challenge agencies & solutions to deliver the global strategy aligning with KPIs and targets
  • Build, coordinate and deliver the strategic roadmap with partners (agencies, business partners, solutions)
  • Supervise agency SLA, (ensure delivery as per contract terms) and Global and regional agency engagement

Driving innovation & Transversal Projects: 

  • Develop scalable processes & frameworks to drive automation and efficiency in lever operational management
  • Identify new trends, products and tools to test in Customer Acquisition & Media levers
  • Ensure a sectoral and technological watch activity in her/his area
  • Monitor of tracking and necessary developments with the product teams
  • Participate in cross-functional projects

Leading and inspiring a team and community of experts to drive our Center of Excellence: 

  • Lead the team under your responsibility, which includes 10 full-time employees (FTEs), with 3 direct FTEs.
  • Develop guidelines & toolkits, build training, webinar and onboarding sessions to constantly drive the development and empowerment of the community of experts worldwide
  • Be responsible to collect needs and requests from regions and act as a facilitator to answer with agility and speed, prioritize requests and liaise with brand teams

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years in media & acquisition both operational and strategically, in a multi-brand, global business environment. Experience in full funnel media with a minimum annual spend of £5-10M, and a proven track record in managing paid marketing channels, especially for a large e-commerce site. Travel & hospitality industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong in media strategy, planning, and buying, both offline and online. Proficient in measurement and data science, including MMM, GA, and KPIs. Confirmed expertise in customer acquisition levers management, and digital optimization tools/solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including matrix team experience and international coordination. Strong leadership and influencing skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Highly data-driven with strong analytical skills, strategic and analytical problem-solving abilities, with business and results acumen.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with fluency in English and ideally another EU language.
  • Strong and relevant experience in managing external agencies and stakeholders
  • Proactive and result-driven in a fast-paced environment, with a target-oriented attitude and the ability to provide clear explanations and recommendations.
  • Strong collaborative working mode, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
