Responsible to the receipt, verification and processing of all goods received by the hotel. Maintain daily purchasing activities and assist in other areas of the purchasing department.
What you will be doing:
- Proficiency in MS excel, word, PowerPoint & other relevant accounting operating systems
- An in-depth understanding of a stockroom & its' environment
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of proper Forklift operation
- Experience in a relevant field, preferred
Your experience and skills include:
- Leadership experience in the receiving field required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Hourly Rate: $27.40 USD
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
