Job Description

Peppers Marysville, a Shakespeare Property Group asset, is seeking an exceptional Hotel professional to take the helm as General Manager. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team in delivering exceptional experiences amidst the picturesque charm of Marysville. 

As General Manager, you will leverage your visionary leadership skills to foster a culture of excellence, elevate guest satisfaction, and optimise operational performance. We seek a seasoned leader who embodies the ethos of Peppers Marysville: refined indulgence, attention to detail and excellent personalised and exceptional food and wine. 

This is a fabulous opportunity for a General Manager or Hotel Manager with previous experience to autonomously lead and drive success across the boutique Hotel. As General Manager you will be responsible for: 

  • leading the overall management and strategic direction of Peppers Marysville 

  • cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, owners, and suppliers 

  • driving and supporting all departments in the achievement of operational efficiency 

  • maximise the Hotel in terms of profit and management of financials 

  • champion employee engagement, promoting a sustainable collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists 


Qualifications

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded. 

About You 

  • Previous experience as a General Manager, or Hotel Manager. Preferably within a boutique Hotel environment. 

  • A proven commercial leader with a strategic vision and demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs 

  • A passion for driving and delivering the commercial aspects of M&E revenue optimisation  

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of experienced professionals 

  • Ability to deliver creative and innovative service experiences 

  • Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with your team and guests 

  • Fosters a positive owner relationship
