We are seeking a confident, motivated and engaging Front Office All Rounder to join our team.  The ideal candidate loves people and is driven to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. 


Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • As the first point of contact greet guests with a warm welcome every time
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests in every interaction by anticipating their needs, responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Make the check-in and check-out process run smoothly
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality, issuing of room keys, handling credit cards and cash handling.
  • Ensure guest and hotel accounts are managed accurately and efficiently.
  • Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and aim to recruit guests during all interactions.
  • Ensure the security of our guests and their possessions
  • Handle guest complaints in a positive manner escalating as required
  • Provide food and beverage service for guests including barista and bar service, food preparation and ensuring high levels of food safety in preparation
  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as Housekeeping Reservations and Maintenance to ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.  
  • Keep other members of front office team informed on guest feedback, requirements etc. during and on shift change
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities to increase the guest experience


What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Hotel Front Office using OPERA Cloud would be an advantage.
  • A passion for service excellence and fluent in the English language
  • Confident, vibrant, outgoing, and professional personality with the ability to juggle competing demands 
  • Ability to multitask and complete several tasks at the same time. Be able to prioritise tasks to ensure guest requests are completely immediately.
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Physically fit and able to complete a full shift on your feet.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends, public holidays.
  • Must hold a current NSW RSA Certificate.
  • Experienced using a Barista coffee machine or be prepared to attend a training course for making coffee.
  • Visa holders require full Australian working rights with no restrictions.
