Job Description

Food and Beverage Compliance & Cost Control Manager

The Food & Beverage Compliance & Cost Control Manager plays a key role in supporting operational excellence across all Food & Beverage outlets at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This position is responsible for driving compliance with Accor and ownership Standard Operating Procedures, coordinating the (SAQ) process, supporting operational audits, and ensuring robust food and beverage cost control practices.

This is a full-time, contract position, from June - December 2026.

Salary Range: $75,227 per annum, prorated.

Job Duties Include:

  • Coordinate and manage all Food & Beverage (SAQ) compliance requirements throughout the year.
  • Maintain documentation supporting compliance initiatives and audit readiness.
  • Monitor and analyze food and beverage cost performance across all outlets.
  • Review purchasing practices to ensure compliance with approved vendors, purchasing standards, and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate monthly food, beverage, and operating supply inventories.
  • Generate regular compliance and cost control reports for the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Committee.
  • Support training initiatives related to SOP compliance, inventory controls, beverage management, and cost control practices.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the Food & Beverage division.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of Food & Beverage operations, cost control, inventory management, or compliance experience
  • Experience with inventory management systems, POS platforms, procurement systems, and reporting tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience within a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred.
