What you will be doing:

• Greeting our guests with a beaming smile and a warm attitude to make them feel welcome and recognised.
• Master our products like a pro and find those golden chances to super-size those sales!
• Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when making recommendations.
• Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests.
• Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises.

About you:

• Your mission is to inject some good vibes and customer love into everything you do, all while aiming to make customers jump for joy with our top-notch service!
• A go-getter always on the lookout for new ways to enhance our guests' journey.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
• Confident in managing both internal and external clients using your expertise.
• A high standard of grooming and presentation.
• The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings (5am), late evenings and on weekends.
• Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate - Victoria.

The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded property that opened its doors on 1 July 2024.
