Job Description
Are you ready to join the kitchen team at Ibis Styles Barnsley hotel? We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to help us deliver high quality meals to our guests.
This part-time role offers 26 hours per week, with pay of up to £12.71 per hour depending on age.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard while supporting the smooth running of the kitchen. Working as part of a small team, you will help ensure consistency, cleanliness and efficiency during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with menu standards
- Maintain high levels of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment
- Assist with stock control and reduce waste
About You
- At least 1 year experience in a kitchen environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
