Job Description

BODA, which is located on the top floor of Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, is looking for a Commis Chef, to be a part of the team and contribute in the delivery of modern Asian culinary styles with a New Zealand twist.

  • Reliable and hardworking.
  • Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of dishes, ensuring they meet our impeccable standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop new culinary concepts and menu items.
  • Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with culinary trends.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a rotating roster 
  • Experience in similar role.
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant culinary experience in similar role would be preferred
  • A deep appreciation for the culinary arts and an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
