Company Description

The Accor Salter Brothers Portfolio is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Finance Manager - Hotels to join our Finance team. The portfolio consists of 11 hotels spanning across 4 states in Australia and consists of 4 different Accor brands. This role will be based in Sydney and manage multiple hotels with a focus for Sofitel Adelaide.

Job Description

  • All-rounder able to manage payroll and accounts payable & receivable
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Review daily cash balance and maintain cash flow projections
  • Month-end close reconciliation and financial analysis
  • Prepare payroll reports and assisting department heads with payroll costs
  • Assisting with budget and forecasting
  • Inventory and stocktake management and reporting
  • Maintain internal control procedures 
  • Assisting Portfolio Finance operation

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 2 years hotel accountant experience in a hotel environment ( Hotel experiences is a must)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to produce quality output under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
  • High attention to detail, task prioritisation and time management
  • Full unrestricted Australian work rights
