Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. Offering ski-in, ski-out convenience in the winter, and an on-site championship golf course in the summer, we are Canada’s year-round outdoor adventure destination. Additionally, we are Whistler's largest conference resort hotel, offering 5 unique dining outlets, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 guestrooms and suites.
Ski Valet
First impressions are everything, and your warm welcome is an integral part of our winter operations team, as you personally greet our guests and assist them throughout the day.
This is a full-time, seasonal position, starting December 3rd, 2024, and ending May 12th, 2025.
Starting Rate of Pay: $21.00 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.55 per hour.
Job Duties Include:
- To consistently maintain and update the ski/boot storage area
- To ensure all equipment match to the guest’s identification number/pass
- To assist the guest services staff with the transportation of skis to and from ski storage
- To correctly store all ski boots and ensure that the warmers are in good working order
- To ensure the whole ski valet area is clean and tidy at all times (storage area, equipment, hallway in the immediate vicinity and entrance of area)
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be a team-oriented person
- Must be flexible and ready to work a variety of shifts
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic
