Job Description

  • Develop and maintain customer base in all assigned markets.
  • Achieve or Exceed personal sales goals, monthly, quarterly, annually, through account development and maintenance.
  • Attend Sales Meetings, office events, hotel-sponsored functions, and industry functions
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service 
  • Identify and execute key action steps each quarter that will achieve booking goals
  • Work with the Director of Sales and the Director of Revenue Management to meet and exceed budgeted group room rates
  • Actively target new business within the territory assigned
  • Able to think strategically and maximize our group potential to include use of meeting space for meetings and events. Arrival and departure patterns that fit with the hotel business needs
  • Fully qualify each Group business opportunity to understand the full potential of the booking and account
  • Coordinate with conventions services on groups involving rooms and banquet revenue

 


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a previous event leadership role required
  • Experience in a luxury hotel brand preferred
  • College degree in a related discipline 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills  
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Only local candidates will be considered
