Job Description

           DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Posts Room Revenue and ensures that all occupied rooms have been charged accurately.
  •  Posts all pending/ un-posted charges.
  •  Audits all outlet reports and tallies them with Opera for accuracy. Checks that genuine discounts are given.
  •  Audits the banquet functions and ensures the charges are as per banquet event orders. 2.5 Controls and reconciles the daily sales in the outlets.
  •  Audits F&B and all other hotel revenue generated and ensures the accuracy.
  •  Segregates and audits GSA daily work for accuracy.
  •  Audits the credit card transactions for accuracy. Ensures the POS details summary reports agree with Opera.
  •  Checks the authenticity of all FO paid outs/rebates and outlet rebates and verifies for accuracy.
  •  Controls together with Accounts Receivable on daily basis PM and permanent folios.
  •  Audits all administrative PM folios and lost interface posting charges. Analyses and transfers them to respective accounts/folios.
  •  Performs month end closing and ensures that the trial balance agrees with general Ledger.
  •  Prepares daily and monthly reports for the management. Recognizes any issues which will act as barriers to achieving departmental objectives; informs the Financial Controller / Assistant Financial Controller of the barriers. 
  •  Has knowledge of best practice of the SOP’s and uses this knowledge to enhance the business.
  •  To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.). 2.17 To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
  •  To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment and lead to staffs.
  •  To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance with laws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness. 2.20 Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facility.
  •  Carries out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

 


Qualifications

             QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Education: 4-year bachelor's degree.
  •  Experience: At least 4 years of work experience
  •  Foreign Language: Sufficient level of foreign language knowledge to keep track of related literature.
  •  Courses and Training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the field.
  •  Computer Literacy: MS Office applications, Front Office computer system.
  •  Special Qualifications: Has knowledge about the legislation / practices / systems in the related field. Performs several actions that are correlated and concern more than one group of actions specifically aimed at the targets. Performs specific sequential activities that are related to each other.
