In-Room Dining Server ensures a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests in the privacy and comfort of their rooms. The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for delivering personalized and attentive service, taking and accurately recording guest orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff for order preparation, and ensuring that orders are delivered promptly, maintaining the desired quality and presentation. With a focus on providing outstanding guest service, the In-Room Dining Server plays a pivotal role in upholding the hotel's reputation for luxury, attentiveness, and guest satisfaction.

1. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certifications or vocational training in hospitality or food service will be advantageous.
2. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment is preferred.
3. Food and Beverage Knowledge: A solid understanding of food and beverage items, including menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine and beverage pairing. This knowledge helps in providing accurate information and making appropriate recommendations to guests. 
4. Attention to Detail: In luxury hotels, attention to detail is highly valued. In-room dining servers should have a keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy, proper presentation, and adherence to service standards. 
5. Multitasking and Time Management: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver orders within designated time frames is crucial. Strong multitasking and time management skills are necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
6. Physical Stamina: The role of an in-room dining server can be physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing, walking, and carrying trays of food and beverages. Physical stamina and the ability to handle the physical demands of the job are important. 
7. Flexibility and Adaptability: The hospitality industry often involves irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. In-room dining servers should be flexible and adaptable to meet varying guest demands and work schedules. 
8. Professionalism: In Raffles Jakarta, professionalism is paramount.
