The Hoxton, Downtown LA is in a neighborhood that has seen a major revival over the last few years, with some of the city’s best restaurants, shops and bars opening up there and many more in the pipeline. The Hoxton, Downtown LA offers 174 rooms designed by Ennismore Design Studio, a ground floor restaurant with exciting culinary partners, along with The Hoxton’s first rooftop pool with restaurant and amazing views over Broadway, the historic commercial, theatre and cinema district and one of the oldest streets in the city.


Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and be part of a dynamic team.

Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in guest relations or hotel industry is preferred
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hospitality management
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset
- Proficient in operating phone systems and handling phone etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
