We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Ibis Valdebebas Madrid Airport in February 2024, and we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office Department and Guest service operations and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

About the Role

As the Rooms Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of key departments, including Front Office, Reservations, Concierge, Night Audit, and coordination with Housekeeping and F&B. You will ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional service, maximize profitability, and lead a team dedicated to exceeding guest expectations. Reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager and General Manager, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for the guest journey.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and inspiring teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage and optimize Front Office operations for an outstanding guest experience.
  • Supervise guest arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping to uphold room cleanliness and productivity goals.
  • Ensure public areas maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Financial Oversight:

  • Achieve financial performance targets for revenue, expenditure, and market share.
  • Ensure accurate billing, oversee cash handling procedures, and support the Finance Department.
  • Develop and control department budgets, striving for cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, address performance issues, and celebrate achievements.
  • Champion Accor training initiatives and support staff career development.

Customer Focus:

  • Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Lead by example in creating memorable customer interactions and resolving challenges.
  • Implement Accor’s customer vision: “Offer the Best Service to Our Customers.”

Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in line with legislative requirements.
