Located in the heart of Hobart, this 221-room premium hotel offers an exceptional location and exciting F&B concept across breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as hotel in-room dining and conference & events. Our signature restaurant, 'Tesoro’ Modern Italian, showcases the best of Tasmanian produce, inspired by the concepts of sustainability and indulgence, hallmarks of this iconic hotel brand.

You are a passionate ‘foodie’ and are driven to create an outlet that is destination and critically acclaimed. You will tell stories through food that will indulge the senses and leave lasting memories.

With a focus on building a culture of exceptional service that creates unforgettable moments for all patrons, you will lead a team that delivers a premium restaurant experience inclusive of a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner; a premium bar; in-room dining and conference and events.

Job Description

  • An unbridled passion for food and a love of sharing your 'food stories' with our patrons
  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams. Your lead-by-example approach will be infectious
  • The ability to coordinate and manage the day-to-day F&B operations whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience – every guest, every interaction, every day
  • Be a calming influence amid a highly pressured, fast-paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale creating a culture that people want to be a part of
  • Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests, and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail


  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends and a team player with the ability to assist in all areas of F&B operations during peak times
  • Continue to build on and drive our upbeat culture
  • Demonstrated high-quality service standard
  • Experienced with local marketing knowledge in the restaurant industry is highly desired
  • Must have an RSA certificate.
