Job Description

Be a part of a spectacular event! As an Event Server with Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel you will create a special event that our Guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player combined with your service skills and your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience. 

    Job Duties Include:  

    • Provide exceptional service to all Guests in a variety of settings including plated and buffet banquets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, working lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions, formal events, and off-site catering events.
    • Set event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders, client specifications and service standards. And tear down and clean up following banquet functions.
    • Offer a high level of product knowledge and follow up on all Guest inquiries.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Your Skills & Qualfications:

    • Must have Pro-Serve Certification.
    • 2 years previous serving experience preferred. Bartending, cash handling and previous Silverware point of sale system experience is an asset.
    • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, etc. for 3-12 hour shifts.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
