Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our pastry kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more.
About the role:
- Assist the Asst Pastry Chef / Pastry Chef in supervising and overseeing the daily operations of the pastry team.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Create, prepare and present menu items and specials.
- Communicate with Pastry team smoothly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Responsible for guiding the Demi Chef de Partie and Commis and in the performance of their jobs in accordance to resort policies and procedures.
- Keep a minimum waste proactively in controlling food cost levels.

Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand. Maldives’ work experience is preferred.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Great attention to detail and creativity especially for buffet presentations.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, health and safety and hygiene procedures.
- Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
