Turndown Attendant - Part Time

• Log & distribute colleague uniforms
• Coordinate with Security and Talent and Culture in the issuance of Uniform Garment bag and slot for new colleagues and the deletion of terminated colleagues
• Utilize uniform software to track Uniform Inventory
• Conduct colleague uniform inventory
• Fix buttons, rips, etc. on colleague uniforms
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of uniform room and laundry facility
• Receive, handle, charge for and ensuring timely return of Guest Laundry
• Assist with pressing services as directed by Housekeeping Management
• Assist with valet services for VIP guests
• Carry out various functions within the Laundry department
• Sort soiled linen, label and make ready for pick up
• Load / unload washing machines and dryers
• Receive linen coming out of laundry machine, sort and separate
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Check nightly assignments
• Gather all cleaning supplies and return daily
• Complete all pre-cleaning set up duties; including but not limited to, guest and cleaning supplies, linen and housekeeping cart prep
• Follow prescribed use of cleaning chemicals
• Report all lost and found items
• Refresh guest rooms by creating an inviting return for our guest
• Replenish ice buckets and glass water bottles
• Clean vacant / occupied rooms
• Make up of rollaway beds

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is an asset
• High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
• Strong guest service orientation
• Able to balance a variety of conflicting priorities while providing guest service

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
