Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you: 

Within the "Methods & Performance, Observability & Supervision" unit, you will be responsible for the Splunk Observability tools and the Splunk Cloud platform. Your expertise will be essential to ensure optimal system monitoring and smooth integration of the solution into our cloud environment.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Install, configure, and integrate the Splunk Observability & Splunk Cloud platform modules with existing systems.
  • Deploy and monitor agents on application environments.
  • Ensure real-time monitoring and adjust configurations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical incidents and propose performance improvements.
  • Automate the deployment of new data sources.
  • Communicate/Collaborate closely with the DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical support & train users.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with the manager/PO.
  • Analyze needs, propose technical solutions, and estimate workloads.
  • Ensure the technical architecture adheres to recommendations.
  • Remove technical roadblocks and document best practices.
  • Foster the team's skill development (mentoring).
  • Be proactive in suggesting technical improvements while staying abreast of new technologies.

Qualifications

About you:

 

With a degree from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Independent and equipped with strong problem-solving and technical analysis skills, you also work effectively in a team.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in observability tools: Splunk Observability & Splunk Cloud platform.
  • Strong command of the Linux system.
  • Good knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Excellent command of both English and French for presentations to an international audience.
  • Splunk Observability and Splunk Cloud platform certification.
  • Familiarity with alternative solutions such as ELK or Dynatrace.
  • Experience in implementing observability tools in an AWS environment.
