Security Agent

Security Agent

You ensure the safety and wellbeing of your fellow employees, guests and visitors. You are attentive, efficient and committed, and will ensure your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

Starting Rate of Pay: $22.40 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.10.

Job Duties Include:

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees and property premises
• Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

• Previous security/hospitality experience is required
• OFA level 2 First Aid Certification required
• Previous security/hospitality experience is required
• Class 5 Drivers License is required
• Possess a valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST) License
