Job Description

Sales Manager MICE generates interest, creates opportunities, provides information, factors customer feedback, makes appointments and produces leads by telephone, email, in person meetings and through marketing campaigns; provides the opportunity for both customer and business to find out more about each other. After all, converts those opportunities into business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                           

  • Effective communication skills
  • Being courteous, professional and persistent
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Hands on experience with sales tools such as CRM software
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Working with business & private events, weddings

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients;
  • Identifies business opportunities in MICE segment by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options;
  • Maintain an up to date account and contact database and special client needs in order to understand better the requirements of the clients;
  • Pro-actively seeks knowledge of industry developments and use it to enhance the skill set;
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services;
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences;
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or University Degree
  • Proven experience working as a Sales Executive or Sales Coordinator
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Fluent level of English language is a must
  • Proven record of met quota 
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
